New Millerton branch gets the green thumbs up!
Construction gets a "green" light from environmental organization

People in Millerton have been showing a lot of interest in the ongoing construction of our new branch, which is expected to open in early 2010. With the project in full swing, there's been lots of activity at the site.
We're very excited that the Millerton branch will be LEED Green Certified. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED is an internationally recognized system that provides guidelines and certification that a building was designed and built to meet environmentally responsible standards. Salisbury Bank "Adopts" a House

The one downside of our beautiful annual display of fall foliage is the colder temperatures and harsh weather that inevitably follow. This makes Fall especially perilous for those forced by economic factors to live in outdated housing that just can't stand up to the elements.
As part of our Community Enrichment Program, Salisbury Bank partnered with Rebuilding Together Dutchess County to sponsor a home renovation project in Dover Plains, NY on Saturday, October 17th. As an Adopt-a-House sponsor, the Bank made a contribution of $3,000 to cover the cost of materials and supplies for the project, and provided a volunteer crew of Bank employees to work on needed repairs to the home.
