Salisbury Bank is helping in the fight against fraud and identity theft by sponsoring Free Community Shred Days. These shred days allow the public to properly dispose of sensitive documents such as bank statements, tax forms and other business related or personal documents.
“Identity theft continues to be a concern for individuals and businesses. Shredding these documents with personal information is one way you can ensure that thieves don’t gain access to information that could be confidential.” stated Betsy Summerville, Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer at Salisbury Bank.
Each attendee may bring up to four boxes of paper (no binders please) for shredding by Record Storage Solutions personnel to the Canaan Branch from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 12, 2014.
This service is brought to you by Salisbury Bank, as a way of giving back to the communities we serve. All shredded paper will be recycled.
