Alton Golden, Assistant Branch Manager Sharon, has been named Employee of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2010. The Employee of the Quarter award promotes and recognizes exemplary individual performance in providing service to the Salisbury Bank community and celebrates the employee's leadership, professionalism, customer service, and strong work ethic attributes.
Al was nominated by his peers for living the vision and core values of Salisbury Bank. He provides the highest level of customer service and is responsive to the financial needs of individuals, families, businesses, organizations and stockholders served by the Bank. Al has been with the Bank for 23 years starting as a teller and working his way to Assistant Branch Manager. He is a very dedicated individual, and brings out the best in others encouraging his co-workers to be the best they can be.
"Al has his own concept of "Bankers Hours" which extends beyond eight to five," said Rick Cantele, President and CEO. "It's not unusual to find Al assisting a customer after hours and on weekends."
Al also makes a difference in the quality of life in the community. He is an active EMT and has worked with the Sharon Ambulance since 1983 and is also a member of the Sharon Fire Department.
