Tammy McGuire, Assistant Branch Manager in the Bank’s Canaan, Connecticut branch, has been named Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2012. The Employee of the Quarter award promotes and recognizes exemplary individual performance in providing service to the Salisbury Bank community and celebrates the employee’s leadership, professionalism, customer service and strong work ethics attributes.
Tammy was nominated by her peers for living the vision and core values of Salisbury Bank.
“Tammy’s finest quality is that she listens, which allows her to completely understand her customers’ needs. To Tammy, the customer always comes first,” says Rick Cantele, President and CEO. “She not only thinks ‘outside of the box,’ but beyond the box in order to provide the best solutions for her customers.”
Tammy started her banking career with Canaan National Bank in November of 2001, and came to Salisbury Bank with the merger in 2004 as a customer service representative. She was recently promoted to Assistant Branch Manager.
Tammy loves to shop, read and do anything that her family wants to do. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband Larry, and her two young boys James and Matthew. Tammy currently resides in Canaan, Connecticut.
According to Tammy, “I try to teach my two boys by example: that honesty and hard work pays off. In most cases, my position of Assistant Branch Manager calls for a professional and reassuring demeanor – but my boys have also taught me that the most stressful situations can be resolved with a good laugh!”
