Salisbury Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Megan Gawel to Assistant Vice President, Retail Manager. In her new position, Megan will be involved in the oversight of the Retail Division of Salisbury Bank, as well training. She will also coordinate branch staffing and customer service development.
Megan started with Salisbury Bank in May 2004 as a Teller. She became a Customer Service Representative in December of that year, and became Head Teller in 2007. Megan advanced to Administrative Assistant to the Branch Administrator in 2008, and then was promoted to Assistant Branch Administrator in 2012.
Betsy Summerville, Senior Vice President Retail Banking said, “Through Megan’s increased responsibilities over the years at Salisbury Bank, she has demonstrated an ability to help implement processes and work with our retail staff to improve the overall customer experience. Megan is an inspiration to other employees and I am proud to see Megan advance in her career at the Bank.”
Megan grew up in Falls Village, Connecticut and now lives in Sheffield, Massachusetts with husband Michael and son, Michael Jr. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family.
