On a crisp September morning, at the Sharon, CT banking office, Salisbury Bank’s Community Shred-it season came to a close.
The chilly morning did not deter people from lining up early to take advantage of this community service with a big environmental impact. In total, the Shred-it event in Sharon shredded and recycled over 8,000 pounds of paper bringing the season’s grand total to 38,740 pounds!
If you missed the final Shred-it day on September 14th, Salisbury Bank will begin hosting other Shred-it days beginning in the spring of 2014. Watch for the complete listing of dates in the New Year.
Salisbury Bank is proud to offer this service as a way of enriching the communities they serve. All shredded paper will be recycled.
