Ryan started as a teller in 2010 and has worked his way up to his current position of Vice President, Commercial Credit Manager. He gives credit to his mentors for coaching him through the various stages of his career.
The advice Ryan extends to new hires is to “Hold yourself to high expectations to achieve the senior position you are longing for.” Salisbury Bank is looking for employees who are interested in advancing to the next level and will provide the tools to help get you there. Ryan, who was once part of the retail division of Salisbury Bank, is now making a difference by leading the credit administration department.
Kim started her career with Salisbury Bank back in February of 2005. Her first position with the Bank was on the teller. She transferred to the Trust Department shortly after.
Kim’s motivation lies in her customer service skills and the drive to do her best even after the customer is satisfied. “Each time I help a client achieve a goal or overcome an obstacle, it motivates me to be my best.” The bank provided support and assistance to help Kim achieve her career goals. “I was always treated as a vital part of the team and was offered opportunities for advancement.” The advice Kim would like to relay to others is, “Learn as much as you can about your department and the industry as a whole. Take advantage of training opportunities that arise and seek out your own. In my opinion, confidence in your abilities is one of the biggest drivers of success."
