Salisbury Bank Announces Three Employee Promotions

Salisbury Bank is pleased to announce the promotions of three employees.
Steve Essex has been named an Executive Officer of the Bank. Steve joined Salisbury Trust Wealth Advisory Services in 2009 and served as Interim Head of the Department from January 2014 until his promotion to Senior Vice President, Head of Trust Wealth Advisory Services in June of 2014. He will continue to manage the originations and administrative functions of the Trust division.
Megan Gawel has been named Vice President, Branch Administrator. Megan has been with the bank since 2004, and has worked in many different retail positions. She was most recently named Branch Administrator in February 2015 and graduated from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management in April. Megan will maintain responsibility for the management of Branch Administration, including sales, training and operations.
J. Adam Higgins has been named Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. Adam joined the bank in June of 2007 as a Trust Operations Assistant and in March of 2008 he transferred to the Commercial Lending Department. In May of 2011, Adam was promoted to AVP, Commercial Loan Officer. Adam will maintain responsibility for assisting commercial borrowers and prospects in obtaining loans.
