Justin Markovits, Esq. Joins Salisbury Trust Wealth Advisory Services Team

Salisbury Bank is pleased to announce that Justin Markovits, Esq. has recently joined Salisbury Bank and Trust as Vice President, Trust Officer in the Wealth Advisory Services division.

Prior to joining Salisbury Trust, Justin practiced law as an Associate in the Trusts and Estates department of a law firm in New York, where he designed estate plans for clients and drafted their estate planning documents. Prior to that, Justin worked at two of the Big Four accounting firms in their Silicon Valley, CA offices on a wide range of tax issues. Justin earned his undergraduate degree from Brown University, his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Boston College Law School and his Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law.

Justin brings solid legal, trust administration, and planning experience to Salisbury Trust, which complements the strengths of the rest of the team. With an office in Poughkeepsie and eventually in Newburgh, NY, he will be a valued resource to the clients of our Riverside Division,” said Steven M. Essex, Executive Vice President.

Justin currently resides in Newburgh, NY, where he and his family have deep ties to the region. Growing up, Justin and his family were members of the Newburgh Yacht Club. His Grandfather served as a former Judge and Mayor of Middletown, NY. Justin’s father was General Counsel for Orange County Choppers in Newburgh, NY.
