Because Banking Local Makes a World of Difference

Everyone knows shopping local and dining local make a big difference in your town’s economy. But banking local is just as important to your community—and especially to the families and businesses who call it home.

At Salisbury Bank, we are personally invested in the communities we serve. When you bank here, your deposits go directly back into helping local neighborhoods, businesses and non-profits. We’re always proud to help new businesses get off the ground and new residents put down roots. And our employees go above and beyond, year after year, to volunteer their time to help improve the hometowns we all love.

We’re committed to giving back to the communities we serve—knowing that what we do is made possible by our friends and neighbors. Here are just a few of our community highlights from 2020:

  • 1,170 loans in the amount of $296,340,975.05 lent to local business owners, including 932 Paycheck Protection Program Loans in the amount of $99,862,200

  • $149,907,024 in mortgages lent to 475 local residents

  • 32,100 pounds of personal documents shredded at 5 Community Shred Days
