Elder Financial Abuse Awareness

Widespread and easily over-looked, financial elder abuse is a growing and devastating problem in today’s society. According to the National Adult Protective Services Administration, recent research shows that elder financial exploitation is not only pervasive, but vastly under-reported; only one in 44 cases of financial abuse is ever reported.

This informative seminar is an opportunity for seniors and their families to:

  • Learn about the most common scams and how the elderly can protect themselves
  • Find out who to contact regarding scam attempts
  • Gain the knowledge to help elderly safeguard personal information

Presenters:
