What you need to know about the upcoming changes to Medicare in 2019

In this seminar, hosts Magaly Bravo and Amanda Halle from the Western CT Area Agency on Aging will discuss Medicare updates for 2019 so individuals can make more informed decisions during the upcoming Medicare Open Enrollment Period from October 15th to December 7th.

Every year it’s critical for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers to review their plan(s) as they may change from the previous year. In addition, they will provide tips on how beneficiaries can protect themselves from Medicare Fraud during this Enrollment Period.

The CHOICES Program (Connecticut’s programs for Health insurance, Outreach, Information and Eligibility Screening) provides unbiased information and counseling, on Medicare, Medigap, Medicare Managed Care, Medicaid, Medicare Savings Program, Long Term Care Insurance and other related state & federal programs.
